Question. Is that the 70 cap fight? I was trying to decipher the purpose of the battle, and aside from a 70 cap fight, I couldn't figure out one. I did notice that there was no 'You can now advance to level whatever' on the tail end when it was telling you you beat the battlefield record (congrats on tha, btw.)

I wish I had the time and patience to level Blue Mage. It looks like there's a good story surrounding it.:)

Your conditions for winning looks similar to MNKs Maat fight. I never actually got Maat to 0 hp, and he had me down to like 14 when it was over. Maybe it's just a pure DPS thing. Do enough damage quickly enough and he'll yield.
